About Zunera Naghman:

Hi I’m Zunera Naghman and I have done my bachelors in Computer Science from Szabist, Islamabad. Currently, I’m a full-time content writer. Initially, I started working as a content writer at Uptech Sol (SMC-PVT) LTD which is parent company of Pickyreads. My primary focus is on website content about Technology. Moreover, it gave me great opportunities to work with good clients. Having a Computer Science background, I’m able to learn variety of new and exciting things about Technology.

Being a content writer, it’s my responsibility to create original and authentic content so I try to produce original and search engine friendly content for the clients and the website which helps in generating more audience and online traffic. In the beginning, I worked hard to fulfil the clients’ requirements by delivering high-quality and authentic content on daily-basis. I had tough time balancing my work and life.

But eventually I enjoyed writing content and now it has become my profession as well as passion. Recently, I started writing content for a website which provides summaries of the novels and books.

So far loving what I do as it helps me to learn about technology and its advancements, some great authors and every book has something new to teach. It has broadened my horizons and my writing skills. Being a content writer, I’m able to improve my research skills on a daily basis. I was never a reader but content writing has changed me and now I am hoping to be a published writer someday as I love telling stories and got a grip at writing as well.

My journey of content writer:

My journey of a content writer has taught me that you have to be creative and be yourself. Moreover, you have to be clear. It means that whatever you are writing is easy to understand by the audience. Focus on the clarity but be precise. Another thing that I learned as a content writer is that you should be really good at managing your time otherwise it will definitely mess up your work-life balance. Sometimes, we get weird clients so be patient with them and try to meet their needs patiently because you are always in a constant state of acquiring new clients of different nature.

As we know that the content writing contract is not easy to get but Uptech Sol is giving a great opportunity for the fresh graduates to gain experience and exposure.

Some cons of being a content writer:

As much as like writing content, it’s important to mention here what I don’t like about being a content writer and that is it does not give the credibility and the acknowledgement that we deserve. Moreover, you have to follow the strict deadlines and available at any time of the day.
